remember, we are not bypassing tftp. we are simply autoserving this custom config.
the modem still gets a config from the tftp it just doesnt seem to use it.

that thought had entered my head, but hey, i shared it non the less didnt i, lol
this is the crux of it....... Starting Tftp of configuration file... Opening file 'cmreg-ntlhm256-rts98.cm' on 10.137.103.2 for reading... tftp-enforce bypass is DISABLED TFTPD Started Forcing Config TFTP IP to 127.0.0.1 Forcing Config File name to custom config.cm TFTPD received 1 from 10.***.***.***:1027 Storing received cfg of size 76 to memory TFTPD Shut down Tftp transfer complete! ![]() now, i dont know much about all this, config editing and whatnot, but, last time i had a play around with a flashed modem, you didnt get this speed offov an rts98 config i'm not lying to yas, honest.

I said kill a channel not the whole area. They have 3 or 4 upload channels per area/node. I'm not sure if they are all about 8 meg or if there are some which are lower speed channels???

ok, well i have a video. it contains my ip so i wont be posting but i will however be sending it to a few select people.
it clearly shows me editing a config with vultureware, saving it with techwatch in the config filename, using no authentication string, uploading it to a 2100 and rebooting. it continues with the haxor page showing my modem registering and becoming operational. i then go to speedtest.net and do a speedtest. granted the download wasnt amazing but you can clearly see the upload at 1.5mb a sec if this generates enough interest, could someone tell me how i can scribble out my ip on a video taken with a nokia, thanks. i could always just get a new ip but if that ip got into the wrong hand, they could trace me to my ubr

For example, 10 x 20meg customers @ 768 upspeed each is getting on towards 8 meg upspeed, so I would think that there are more than this amount of customers per node. I would be interested now to find out what the limits of the nodes speeds are. I thought that the actual nodes ran on an unspecified bitrate system. But, this is all speculation as I do not know for certain. I would welcome any more info from you. Thanks for your input. |
