I have a config file for pure. Pm ur email addy i will send it you in the morning. How do u edit them i dont know what i need or how to do it. I will give it a go if someone can tell me how to do it. Thanks!

I did find an editor on TCNISO some time ago - but the resulting file didn't work.

Using VultureWare DOCSIS Config Editor but when saving its asking for Authentication String wtf is this and where do I find it? any1

No one has it, so just press ok, the changes will be saved.

will the config still work without the Authentication String then.

Shouldn't do, it's a password (shared secret).

They use it to create a HMAC-MD5 checksum in the config file to make sure it is not edited in any way.

I read about it from a post by daks001(SBH) a while back, that's why I was interested if it worked in the other thread.
