corrupt internet downloads?

Hi Tw,

Every file that i download is corrupt im not sure exactly when this problem occurred but i think it was 48h's ago or something i first noticed the problem as my browser started displaying this forum incorrectly like the style sheet had been turned off ect.

Im using a ambit250 running test fix0.3 and to be honest dont think ive had a problem with the modem till now ive tried downloading files in numerous ways newsgroup files fail to extract from the rar's torrents work and my browser appears to work, not sure what details i can give to help diagnose the problem the only error i have in the haxo log are as follows:

2009-05-15 23:52:15 Critical T005.0 SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Loss of Sync
2009-05-15 15:08:23 Warning D103.0 DHCP RENEW WARNING - Field invalid in response

also the config file ive specified in the modems flash is cmreg-ntlhm250-rts22.cm but the tft specifies cmreg-ntlhm250-rts22(-b).cm everything else seems ok. I currently have the modem going through my router maybe that could be the cause if the problem, i just wanted to ask as someone with more knoledge might have had this problem before as this type of error could be many things but im looking in the direction of the modem as i dont think anything has changed on my computer within the last few days and windows has been stable making me belive it isnt a pc hardware problem. Has anyone ever had this problem before??? thanx

Nothing to do with your modem mate...tis a browser problem, download and install firefox and try that as a test

edit: i see newsgroups are bad too, i'd look for spyware first. spybot s&d would be 1st port of call
