Default Surfboard 5100i - Help

Hi guys, I have a surfboard 5100i modem here that i have just tried putting haxo 11 rev 31 on it via toms jtag utility and a 2 meg dump but now it has gone off altogether. As soon as it had finished flashing i restarted the modem and all the lights have gone off. When i try to connect to it again it keeps saying error. Can anybody tell me what this means and can it be fixed with jtagging. Any help will be much appreciated guys

No you can't put haxorware on a 5100 , M R Mawdsley has just found out the hard way , I personally use SIGMA-X2 v15.0-BPI-HACK as all sb5100's down here ( Bristol ) don't get on with the sb5100mod for some reason.

Yep just found the info

Compatible with all modems that use the BCM3349 chipset

The 5100 has a 3348 chipset

Use your black cat cable and program it should still read the chip , then go to the 5100 tab , install the new firmware first , then install the new bootloader , should be up and running again within the hour
