the box super starview 4

Hey guys. Was just wondering if anyone had one of the above boxes. Im looking for some feedback on them because my eurovox pvr ex5000 broke on me this morning and was wondering whether to get another eurovox one or move to starview.

What's wrong with your euro????

It wont turn on when i turn it on at the mains i can hear the hard drive power up but nothing comes on the front and nothing comes on the tele.

I tried connecting it to the pc aswell to put firmware on again but it doesnt even get recognized by the computer so there seems to only be power going to the hard drive.

Any suggestions mate

sounds bad , better to get new box , if your after one for recording the starview isn't bad

Ok thanks for your advice. I think ill go for the starview 4. Would anyone else recommend that or eurovox again

iv just bought the eurovox ex7000, since its ment to be the best eurovox out on the market it has no easy to view tv guide. This is a real pain as iv just come off sky+. Think im gonna sell it and get a starview, can anyone tell me if there is a propper tv guide on the starview 4 super...

Hiya

TV guide on STV4 is good. Sometimes if the progs don't come in, you just have to hit the green button and download the epg but this doesn't take long and the only other thing would be that some times after 11pm the progs don't display but in the grand scheme of things, no biggie!!
