Default Hi everybody. Problem changing infinite to haxorware

I have 2 ambit 250's both with infinite on them and think the serials have been blacklisted as I can only get online for mins at a time with reseting nic & mac.I'd like to put haxorware on with ethernet cable to change them.
I've followed tut's on techwatch and get to the putty program.
I stop putty from scrolling and input commands, but when it comes to the "y or n" part it doesn't give me option to put in y it just comes up [n] and errors if I enter y. Is this right? as it doesn't load f/w when I get to reset.
Sorry if this has been posted before, but spent all weekend at same point and I'm so close.

Regards
A. BrokenMan

instructions are included with haxorware. there in the instructions.txt file within the upgrade folder.

use hyperterminal.

you will need to set the pc's ip to 192.168.100.10

you will also need to know the telnet login details of your modem.

if you do not know the details, you will need to set them to something you do know using the serial connection.

Hi, G77, will try using hyperterminal instead of putty. I've got login & password and can get to last step of inputing commands in putty, put it doesn't give me option of confirming. Grrrrr so close.
Thanks G77

In some cases do you not need to restore the bootloader with softjtag & then flash with 250bin before putting hax over infinite? I had to do something like that anyway.

good luck pal
