hi was wondering if this modem can be hacked to give me faster net ect?

They can be moddded by using custom firmware , Don't moddify your subbed modem / or mac address as this would get you in trouble . Go on flea-bay and search haxorware you will find a selection of already modded units

i get 10mb broadband already is it worth getting a modded one aswell as i think you can get up to 25mb now

I am not sure what smallworld are offering in the way of speeds, but with a modded modem you should achive speeds of at least 20mb without raising suspision

If you were to purchuse a already modded unit it is just a matter of entering 12 digit number then your off.. You can still use your subbed modem at the same time ie. for games console , second computer etc...

dont want to sound daft but how would i go about obtaining the 12 digit number

You would need to obtain it ( 12 digit number is known as a mac address ) by doing a search from a location a few miles away from your location ( different UBR ) or trading with someone else , the programs you need are in the download section ,

I'd be interested to see you do this.

You may be able to get away with more than what we do, seeing as they are a smaller network.

use your own mac on bottom of your modem to scan in dchp sniffer, however you will need some 25meg config file names
