Just plug the modem into a router port, enter the routers settings page and check in the DHCP client list , it will show you the mac

that will show him the ethernet mac

i suppose you could work it out by subtracting 6 in hex

but, if dhcp server is set to on in orig firmware, ( i dont think it is) you will get two conflicting dhcp server and no connectivity so you'll have to disable dhcp server in your router

if its orig firmware and it looks like it is, it wouldnt accept telnet connections via serial or winstock.

are you sure it isnt in the internal webpage? double sure?
