I have a dm800hd and I find it a great little box. I have had it since they first came out last year and have seen the images improved over time. The box can only fit one tuner at any given time. I currently use nabilo blackhole v10 in flash and run barry allen on usb. I also have a 160gb hard drive installed. I use cccam 2.1.1 as cam of choice. Recent updates to the drivers allow you to read a uk sky card in the internal slot without newcs. I have no issues at all with overheating after the fix was brought out last year. The only glitch I can remember is if you reboot your box you must remember what satellite you where on an select a channel on that satellite before you can move the motor to another satellite. I don't know if this is common on these receivers but it does not cause me any bother.

helter, premiership football is transmitted on several satellites. I think the one you refer to is the Digitalb supersports channels on 16E. Digitalb stopped showing premier matches at 3 pm, I think after pressure from Ruppie and friends. However, they are showing four drowning team matches at 4pm today. Good luck Newcastle.

Going back to the Dreambox 800HD, unlike Enigma1 machines, it is important to regularly update the software. New software is being released as beta versions daily with final release versions approximately monthly.

The software advances are significant and the enigma2 boxes, 8000, 7025 and 800 in particular now have options to select and view youtube and podcasts direct without the use of VLC. I know it is not satellite tv but it shows how versatile the boxes are.

For football and other sports, look at liveonsat.com. Too late for this seasons premiership footy but lots of others. That excellent site gives both satellites and channels details.

Yes shame about my team Newcastle but the way they were running around like headless chickens yesterday makes me think they will be heading to Div 1 at the end of next season.
