Default Terratec Cinergy S USB. Does this have a slot for a cam (Mac User)

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if a Terratec Cinergy S USB has a CAM Slot so I could use a Diablo? I've tried to find the tech specs of this unit but detailed ones seem illusive!

Anyone here got experience of this box on a Mac? They are significantly cheaper than the Elgato Eye TV 310

Any tips on a Mac Satellite set up (any Box) would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot

OK The reason I couldn't find CAM info is because it doesn't have it.

The Terratec S7 is the one with a CAM.

I'm still after any Satellite on Mac with a Diablo CAM tips if anyone has any!

Thanks a lot

If you already have a working copy of Elgato's Eyetv, then save yourself a bit on the 310 and just get the Windows version - the FireDTV S2. It is available from digital-everywhere.com

The internal card version, FloppyDTV still requires a firewire connection internally, so there is little point in getting this for a Mac Pro IMHO.

The sole distributor for the UK seems to be forever out of stock on these, so you may as well buy direct from the manufacturer.

No other card to my knowledge is supported by Elgato, nor am I holding my breath for any other card to come with working OSX drivers. If you want to pay less for a card, then you will have to Bootcamp it.
