hi got a segem dbox 2 with kein system on front of box. the box does nothing even when plugged in tv blank screen. looked at various other posts and tried it to the letter and nothing. i have used ifa with different images using windows xp and crossover cable and null modem cable is it a case of keep trying it till eventually finds a network to talk to each other. can some one tell me if ifa does every thing automatically or do i have to put the ip address in or something. what am i doing wrong is there a step by step guide any help would be much appreciated right now cheers

If your not haveing any luck
Try the Portable IFA
Set your nic to 10 half Duplex..............Paul

Go to control panel then network connections
right click on local area connect and pick properties.
there you will see underneath connect using....your network card
next to this will be a configure tab click on it.
then click on the advanced tab
you need to look for flow control, duplex, media type or connection type
drop the value tab arrow down and set to 10baseT_halfduplex or try automatic or autosense

Hi

If what plasterer has said doesnt work then try and set your lan nic ip to

192.168.0.201 Ifa automatically sets dbox ip to 192.168.0.202

I had the same problem I used IFA 1.56 and did it over the Wireless LAN through a router. Picked up on IFA on the second time. If it wont work Hold the power button and the up arrow key for 10 secs and let it go and see it will pick up.

Ps- also better to install a Media sensing patch.

got the image on but no channels do i have to upload some thing else to get them
