Do you leave the modem ip as 192.168.100.1??? usb nic mac address??????? tftp server ip????? i take it that you just choose any tftp filename (speed) from the list??? and also dont really know if i should overide tftp config??? sorry for so many questions, spent nearly a week trying to flash modem and dont want this screen to beat me, any help will be great, thanks guy your the best........... |

i think you'll be lucky getting sigma to work.
i cant get any 3348 based modems to stay on for longer than 10 mins. but, if you insist, at present.... leave your modem ip to 192.168.100.1 usb mac = hfc mac -1 tftp server ip will disapear if you choose not to override tftp config, as will the tftp filename, i suggest you do exactly that

well, if you have sigma on it, you can go to 192.168.100.1:1337
you need to set your pc nic ip to 192.168.100.10 put sbmod5100.bin in your ftp root and run your ftp program in the bit at the bottom where it says to upload new firmware put in filename of sb5100mod and ip 192.168.100.10 and update it that way
