i was just wondering if anyone who needs the new modem for the upgrade of the 2mb to the 10mb connection recieved the modem yet as its been over 2weeks since i have registered and it states that you should recieve your modem in 5 days..

dont know if u get a new modem, but they upgrade it on ur exsisting modem, check ur speed.

my speeds are still the same 2mb. when i registered on the site it said that i will need a new modem and had 2 options which were to get it posted and i install it myself and then i have to ring them to activate it and the second option was to have someone from virgin media to come and install it themselves which i was like no thanks as it was a £30 service charge...

dont let let them in ur house if u a modded box or modem.

yeah i know i'm planning to go to the virgin media shop which has opened. i know to remove all my modded boxes.

my speedtest was 2.08mb and upload was 0.24

what should the 10mb speedtest be so that when leicester is done then i will check..

Something like this, or maybe a bit lower, thats my connecton, was upgraded from 2 to 10mb but my one only took 1 day for the upgrade, didnt need to get new modem.
