Original firmware can be flashed to Ambit 250/255/256 aswell you need to change the perm which is the mac address. It may even be possible to do it on other modems but im not sure im sure someone can clarify it.

Rick1019, clear some old pm's, , , it says u cant accept anymore cause your box full!
