Exclamation Have a Sky Box... not subscribed... have a question!

Hi guys.

Ok, my dilemma is a rather simple one really and I think I'll get a very simple and straight forward answer but I have to ask anyway...

I have an old-ish Sky Digibox that works fine and I have a dish for it to be connected up to, however, I am not a subscriber to Sky. My question is simple, is it possible to get a dodgy Sky card or a smart card alternative that will unlock all of the channels on Sky or not? If not, is there any alternative that I can look in to other than becoming a Sky subscriber?

I apologise if this question has been asked before and answered before, but as I'm new to satellite technology, it's a question I have to ask. Also, I know I must sound quite seedy by asking to try and get something for nothing but in this current economic climate, one can only try can't they?

Thanks in advance guys. Your help in gratefully recieved.

Question has been asked and answered many times before.
If you want sky then you have to pay for it.
The sky box you have can be used to get the free channels on Astra 28 and that's about it.

Don't forget in these hard economic times Sky is suffering too.

There are methods to obtain sly for free, but given the nature of your question, I won't divulge any further.

If you want sly, as said by Danielle, you must pay for it.

If you are genuinely interested in learning more about getting sly without paying for it, start reading up on card sharing, but I warn you, its neither simple nor likely you will actually achieve the results you are hoping for.

Either way, best not to continue that one mate,

I can't say I have much in the way of sympathy for BSKYB. Sky News alone is making vast profits so I think they'll be fine.

Thanks for the replies though guys. Much appreciated. On reflection I think I'll just stick to my basic Virgin package. I cannot really afford Sky at the moment, hense why i was asking the original question in the first place. Not to worry

Thanks again!

There isn't such a thing as Free Sky

One way or the other you have to shell out a load of cash first
