Default Vm basic package

I have been reading around the forum and am struggiling to find an answer to my question - is ther any benefit to having a basic virgin media package then getting all the channels with the card hack thing or whatever you call it?

Because i currently have a dodgy vm box with every channel, is there any benefit to purchasing a vm basic package? If i paid monthly for the basic package but instead plugged in my dodgy box could i get on demmand?

Sorry ifthis information is elsewhere on the forum, but its hard to find.

If your box has had its talk back cut whether you subscribe or not your not going to get on demand as your box has no way to tell virgin what on demand you want as the talk back is cut..

The only reason I can see you might want the basic package is just so virgin might be alittle less suspicious if your line starts distorting, though like you im relatively new to this so you might want one of the pros to answer aswell

Hi

Its always good to pay basic subs to ensure that your signal is always live they do audits at boxes and if you are not a paying customer they would cut you off at any given time.

Also if everybody didnt pay the basic subs then the whole cable thing would go tits up as how is vermin expected to survice if everybody is hacking them and not paying anything remember ondigital.

So better to pay a little and take a lot so to speak but not on demand.

Regards

so what if you got a dodgy box without talkback cut and paid for a basic vm package then just kept your legit box and didnt plug it in but instead plugged in the dodgy one, then could you use on demmand without getting caught?

Use a splitter, keep your legit box and use it to view on demand and iPlayer etc. Use the hacked box to view channels you cannot otherwise view.

Legit box one scart the hacked box on another scart or one box can use the RF aerial.

VM will know the box that you're using is dodgy, they will have all the data they want if your box is sending its data to VM through talkback.
