Default Soldering a card reader off?

Alright folk's, sorry to keep posting about stuff. Just wondering, Is there a basic rule to soldering off the card readers from a DI4001N?? Ive had a quick go but it just does not seem to come loose or away from the board.

Thanks People

Craig

Use some braid to remove the solder and it will come away-take your time and lift bit by bit as you go-it will come away

braid wont be any goood. well it will be for the little bit but from what i can see its the big bits which will cause a prob. you need a lot of heat over a big area.
try as my prev post suggests

Much easier to snip it off and then desolder one at a time, new card readers are cheap.
