Hi, I got a blue NTL 240 cable modem for internet. THe cable modem doesn't work properly, thus I am thinking to buy same model from ebay, so will it work becasue it might hav different MAC address to what I got. Therefore just wanted to work if it would work or not.

need more information, if you have a contract them phone the isp and get another modem, if not what sw are you running on the modem?
