Earlier ISOBuster used to be free but now has gone paid but you can still use with its free functionality also! It will never expire or offer crippled features!
http://www.isobuster.com/

There is another ISO freeware utility - http://www.snapfiles.com/get/ISORecorder.html But it does not have too much features!

Not even a single complete freeware ISO application I could find!

I thought ISOBuster was used to recover data from damaged CDs.
Anyway, is there any FREE software which can edit ISO files.

ISOBuster is much more than that! Currently I could not find any freeware to edit that! Use ISOBuster with its free functionality! Its great in that way!

OK.
I think I will use ISOBuster.
By the way can WinRAR or 7-Zip edit ISO files?
I recollect seeing WinRAR associating itself with ISO files.

yes you can use WinRAR but don't expect much features from it! It can only add and replace files. It will not completely support ISO, burn it, convert into other formats or the like! It considers ISO as a archive and not a CD Image! Also WinRAR is not freeware....i thought you were interested only in freewares!

BTW I do not know whether 7-Zip supports ISO or not! Check it yourself but it will also consider ISO as a archive and nothing else if it supports it!

I found another one.
MagicISO
www.magiciso.com

It is supposed to be trial, but my friend says it works without any limitations.
