Default just got a 80cm motorized system iv noticed the dish has elevation markings on the p

just got a 80cm motorized system iv noticed the dish has elevation markings on the black plastic base there is also elevation markings on the motor i know this should be set to 36/37 as im in north london

What do i set the dish at on the black plastic base i assume it should be set to ZERO but it only starts at 10 degrees

yes didnt see any thing about the dish just the motor but i did look at a youtube guide and i think it say 22/3 degrees elevation on the dish

As per the guides, you set the motor latitude to your latitude. Or if you use the elevation markings then 90-latitude.

What you set the dish to, depends on the motor. For the Motecks and TM2200 etc it will be about 22, for others it may be different.

Either way, it doesn't really matter, as what you need to do is to send the motor to Thor using USALS and adjust the dish for best signal quality on a transponder such as 11325H(bbc world). Depending on the dish and the motor, it could be nowhere near 22.
