I for one hope they go down , and if they do let's see all there fan's still going week in week out ( doubt it ) and ay do them i bit of good in lower league .
Was at man utd when we went down and that just shows no club to big to be relagated.

P.S On rafa having total control over transfers , last year he didn't want keane , parry did .

But he did want lucas £ 6 million and dossena £ 8 miliion , parry didn't want either .

Who was the best judge parry or benitez ??????

And liverpool will be a threat next year but until you actually win the league under rafa best to acknowledge fergie as a better manager.

we,ve never said we were too big to go down, every team should realise that they,re not too big to go down, as for the crowds, we,ve been getting 50,000 for a few years now, even though we were still ****e, a couple of years back when man u had a string of bad results(think you,s had lost 3 or 4 and drawn a couple) you,s were baying for fergusons blood, even after all the success he,d brought you,s, a few bad results and oh, jesus, whats he doing. you,s dont appreciate what you,s have had for so long, you,s just take it for granted, nee wonder everyone hates you,s, even though i dont.

I can't see many Newcastle fans being happy with the United line up, even I haven't heard of some of them, and I've seen some reserve games !!!!!!
I'm surprised that Rio Ferdinand isn't playing, and not even on the bench, after all the talk of missing the Champions League final if he didn't play, we'll now just have to wait until Wednesday.
I hope United put in a worthy performance, and give Newcastle, and Sunderland, fans hope throughout the 90 minutes.

No one was shouting for fergie's head apart from the press ( don't believe all you read , according to papers ronaldo was going last year !!!!!!!!!!!!!)

P.S We united fans take nothing for granted remember we went 26 years without the league , so we know you have to fight for everything you get , pity newcastle players don't have same attitude as newcastle fans .

P.P.S Glad you have gone down , let's see if shearer stays , IMHO He will run away from club just like keegan.

A disappointing last day, in fact a disappointing last few weeks from the relegation threatened clubs.
Every year, so far, we seem to have had teams fighting for their life, and even taking points off the top teams, in an attempt to avoid relegation, but this year the performances, and bottle, seem to have been missing, with most of the relegation threatened clubs not giving 100%.
Newcastle were woeful, especially in the second half, without even getting a decent shot on target.
There needs to be a huge clearout, at Newcastle, but unfortunately, due to the wage structure, I can't see how they can shift many of the players, and who would want to buy them?

dont know why a man u fan would be glad we went down, i can understand it coming from the mackems or the smoggies, cos they,re our local and bitter rivals and their hatred towards us is as intense as ours to them, but man u??? as for shearer leaving the club, he was only their for the last 8 games as an interim manager while joe kinnear recuperates, so that blows that one out of the water. keegan left cos ashley brought in that snidey little t**t wise,(God knows why) and he was undermining everything keegan did, he was given the power over who keegan wanted to bring in etc, which, lets face it, is totally wrong. can you see fergie or wenger being told who they can and cannot bring to the club, they just wouldnt stand for it, and neither did keegan.

you,re quite right mate, there needs to be a total clearout, how they do it, well, that remains to be seen, and you,re also right about their performance, if that was a team fighting for its premiership survival, then what the hell have we got to look forward to?? i can only hope that theres truth in the rumours of freddy sheppard and a bunch of his billionaire cronies getting a conglomerate together to buy the club from ashley. the way the club is run now, and has been in the past, is nothing short of criminal.
