ive looked at other threads and no one has had this AFAIK
haxoware states it is opperational and it has downloaded a encrypted config docsis 1.0 complient but i just cant aquire an ip addres it just keep saying aquiring ip address and then limeted or no conectivity
and here is no bad event log in hax so has any one got any ideas?

Power off modem, Change your PC nic MAC or Router MAC, power back on modem.

pull the ethernet out and then put straght back in

may be computer problem, can you try another computer?

How is it operational with no IP addy?

Have you tried another Ethernet cable.

I got this problem before after 4 hours seraching google i found this webpage..

Windows 2000 / XP Disabling Auto IP-address generation

Now it connects :P

also make sure you unplug your modem before you do this change you NIC mac as well then do what the website states above

done as all of you surgested but no luck it gets an ip off of all my 2mb macs ive tried like 16 there all good but ive got only a few 10mb macs and they all do this thing were they just get stuk aquiring.
even done Windows 2000 / XP Disabling Auto IP-address generation no joy!

mate, dont mean to take the P but do you change your local network connection back to "Obtain IP address automatically"

ovcourse i have because if it was set to a manual ip say 192.168.100.10 then it wouldnt need to aquire an ip. up late lol
