Your 28e dish only needs to be a sky zone 1 so won't add much to the cost.
So your effectively saying that I should get a good octo LNB, not a cheap one?
And 2/3 receivers can only receive UK FTA channels? (I already have a Sky minidish)

I would check which size tube the brackets take as being listed for an ariel they likely take a 1" mast, whereas you want a 2" or even 3". But thats the right type of bracket. The link for the tube was for a patio mount, but you just want 2" or 3" galv steel tube. The m8's would probably be ok if installed right, I prefer to use m10's on any installs I do just to be sure.

A standard sky octo on a zone 1 dish would be fine. You could put a octo on a motorised dish and all recievers can recieve the sat that the dish is pointed at. But only 1 reciever can control the motor.

I recently did a motorised install to 3 recievers and there were so many arguments about which way the dish should point they called me back and took my recommendation to have a fixed dish. So all recievers got the 28e feed and whatever the wotorised was pointing at. Only the reviever in the living room could control the motor though. It also allows you to watch one sat and record another on a PVR.

Hmm...Interesting. Am I right in thinking that sometimes providers that have no encryption on channels suddenly will change them to encrypted? I suppose one receiver can control whats on at different times of the day

Sorry m8 misunderstood, in that case it is just a case of using the main reciever to move the dish if another sat is required.

Try Toolstation, they do M10 fixings for about 4 quid for 10.

Scaffold tube is what you want, normally approx a quid a foot, from a scaffold merchant.

Another question, am I right in thinking that this dish wont get any "access" to satellites after 80E and 80W?
