Don't you get out at all??

Course you can get single slabs, if b&Q haven't got them, try a garden centre.

Even a builders yard will sell them singly.

I wrote goggles didn't I.

The mechanisms are exactly the same, the differance is in the chuck and clutch. A sds bit is held into the chuck with the grooves on the bit, where as a normal bit relies completely on friction. The clutch on a sds will release the drive faster if the bit jams.

SDS is alot better as the bits don't really slip and they never go into the drill at an angle, which makes them a bit safer to use.

I also have a precussion drill, which works the same as a hammer drill but is less aggressive. Works great for some brick and block work and rarely causes blow out when going all the way through.

Well the seller couldnt deliver the drill, but then I saw what I though was a good deal ? Also, the dish is meant to arrive tomorrow. I really cant thank lee-ds enough. This is extremely generous of him. When I get a new drill, I will be "messing about" with the dish lol.

Also, I have an openmedia 500cs. Im just wondering should I get something non linux? Do the none linux receivers work by downloading some sort of loader and then a patch to view a certain sat eg: 19.2e or something like that? If so, I can do that easily and I wouldnt mind learning about linux even if it was harder(Also Im strapped for cash)

Would the openmedia 500cs do?

That is not a good deal at all, its 110V,so unless you have a 110V transformer, it's useless, and its £27 with postage, similar item only £30 odd from B&Q new.

Not much available by patches, nothing on 19E. I don't know what your receiver is capable of, but it should be OK for FTA channels, though I suspect a little bit more too.

Well,I was going for a sat setup with the idea in mind that I would only get FTA channels. Now I undestand what patches actually do, and obviously I know that you cant hack sky
