Hi guys, sorry for bashing on about this but i have a few questions that i need answered so i can free up a pci slot on my computer by turning my tt-1501 into a paperweight.
The Kryptoview boxes have a temporary fix, so I am looking to get a bit more life out of my card. And this is the place that was so helpful to me when I started. I have read as many posts as I possible both here and on other forums but I’m getting nowhere. 1. The files that are available in the download section with the guide to set up prog dvb for decoding N1 channels, does that pack contain all the files required to get vplug to decode N2? 2. The latest Vplug is able to AU (as per the sticky) again with he correct files could i get it to decode N2? I have not seen any keys available on Bigmac, i presume N2 Keys are longer, 32bit?? Sorry if the above questions are pointless, just trying to wrap my head around this. Any response appreciated, Ireland N*L->tt-1501 ->dvbviewer->dvbsbridge->VMC |

Ans 2. Vplug will not decode Ireland N2 as it stands. Vplug itself will require provider support to be added. N2 keys are rather different to N1 keys. Both ECM and Emm keysets consist of an IDEA key (128 bit key) and and RSA key (ECM 512 bits and EMM 728 bits) afaik, no N2 SoftCam for the PC is coded to work in Ireland at present. |

hmm, apparently the very latest Vplug has had some modifications done to the N2 core to make it more widely usable. This may make it more compatible with the system as used in Ireland but obviously no one has tested it yet.

You shouldn't really need to chip away any more !
Now the keys are public the later versions of Vplug (and some other Softcams) can now be set up to work with N2 in Ireland with little difficulty. |
