Hi,

Here's a good one. I recently bought a 7020si off E Bay advertised as "new". It arrived, I plugged it in but all I got was two vertical bars in the Orange window. Not being satisfied I sent it back and asked for a refund. The chap I bought it off is saying that the only reason I bought it was to get my hands on a new power supply board. He says that I removed the good power board from his receiver and replaced it with a board from another receiver.

Now I am known by certain longstanding members of this and other Forums and those who know me know that this is not the kind of trick that I would pull.

A couple of questions come to mind:

1. Can the power board be matched to a receiver.
2. Can anyone remember bidding on a 7020 more than 2 weeks ago.
3. Has anyone any ideas on how I can strenghthen my case against this **iev*** git

I can back you up 100% that you are a genuine guy! And its not your style to do something like that!

Why would you spend that sort of money on a 7020, when you can buy a PSU for around £30!

Dream also send out PSU as a part exchange.

If you dont get a good outcome from this name and shame him

No need to name and shame, got awarded a full refund from Paypal. Just beware of a 7020si from Stourbridge appearing anywhere for sale!!!!!
