Webby lights do not work anyway with the firmware mate so that is perfectly normal.

nice one sean ,,, thanks to all for all your help ,, and thanks to the site for keeping some incredible reference material ,,, keep up the good work
was really surprized how quick the flash was with max 232 it was my first effort ,, but a fantastic product sean sorry to bother you ,, i have a few mac's i collected along the way ,, best speed i have is around the 6 mb mark ,, but i think the config file on some of my 2 mb mac's point to being able to run at 10 mb ,,, do i need to change anything to reach these unatainable speeds lol |

If you are getting 6 meg, this means that you are on a 10 meg config.
When you run a speed test make sure that you are not running any other bandwidth consuming software such as downloads etc. Also your speed will be dependent on the time of day and the amount of users online in your area. To get maximum speed, you need to be on in the middle of the night really mate. |

just for information purposes if anyones interested that is i had a play ,, one of the macs i use automatically had a 20 meg config file and was running at 2 meg ,, i changed to config file to a 10 meg config file its now running at 10 meg ,,, now i know you guys proberbly already know this but im over the moon with this
