Default Samsung 2110c and paired card (I think)

Folks I was given a ntl box which is a Samsung 2110c with a card. Ive went into the engineers menu and it says "Card Status : Ok", does this mean I have a paired card.

My smartcard revision says "DNASP011 REVB0D", is this hackable. Is my card a fun card etc.

My friend gave me an Elvis programmer, he says all I do is upload the key and thats that. Is it easy as that.

I think talkback has been cut as it says "Return Path: Off"

Cheers

More than likely, yes it does. Unless somebody has fiddled with it (Card Status will still show OK if the IRD is correct). The only way to find out is to unloop it and read it in Nagra Edit mate.

Looks like you might be in luck , what ever you do don't put the card back in the box when on live feed untill you get yourself an unlooper. Put the box in a cupboard and dont touch it again untill your ready enough to unloop said card , have a read around and firmularize with the process. There a a few unloopers on the market , the two most popular seem to be the T911 and the powersync , invest in one of these.

Although there would be no point just to do one card, you could always ask some kind member on the forum if he/she will unloop it for you *wink* *wink* .

Hi

As what everybody has said above but would just like to add it would say return path is off if the feed wasnt connected, if feed was connected and it said that then yes talkback has been cut.

If you did have feedback on then do not do it again with card in or you could get a "deac" hit to the card and then you will end up with a doorstop. I hope you didnt have feed in when you were checking card.

Regards
