hello

i am trying to get the latest fix of haxo image onto my modem. i already hav haxo installed on my modem. can i upgrade the modem via ethernet cable or do i have use max232 to re-flash modem from scratch

Depends which version you have on it. I believe that with the latest rev31 you can flash it from the GUI.

if you want to flash ver 1.1 rev31 onto it use the webGUI if you are however talking about fitz fixes its a 2mb dump 232 is needed to reflash modem. Mind aswell some 250s dont seem to like the bootloader included in that firmware and will crash on boot

thanks for replies wouldyou re-commend fitz fix. cos i have one modem with infinite not working an done with normal haxo not workin tearing y head out no solutioon

Bear in mind that you cannot use the GUI to flash from rev30 to rev31 it doesn't work for some reason, but you can however flash a downgraded Haxorware using the GUI.

leave the f/w mate just bash out a shed load of macs on whatever you have. anything will suffice. chrisw125 on this forum ended up on the extrememly lucky end of 20 or so macs and the first one worked brilliantly

Depends what area u in fitz fix works very well in some areas. I know Pure works good not sure about others worth a shot. Will have to use Max232 and flash full 2mb dump as it contains all the certs etc so cant do it via webgui. If it dont work u can always revert back aint losing anything and try a 250 mac with his latest fix.

AFAIK fitz fix has helped a fair few folk on here.

To many people ask the same over and over, never bother to use search and actually read.

If you have a 2mb dump you cant use any (current) WebGUI, you have to use to ol' P option from the noisy bootloader and flash it that way.
