Yes, have a look at bigpockets or SVP for some bargains

If you connect the box to the HDD recorder via either scart or them red, yellow, white wire things then you dont need to "programme" the HDD recorder-just switch to the right "channel" on the HDD recorder(normally AV 1 or AV2)

Cheers for the help so far lads.

another question would be that i wouldnt be able to record one channel and watch another would i or am i misunderstood

Depending on the HDD recorder, you MAY be able to play back one recording whilst recording something else.

You can only get one channel at a time out of the Eurovox, so unless you get a second Eurovox, you can't dual-view

In other words, please dont expect your HDD recorder to let you watch one thing and record something else. The way they work is they "copy" whatever's connected to them eg: You connect your EX1000SL to AV1(scart 1) and you are wanting to record something on BBC 1, you then want to go on the menu for some reason or the other(whilst the programme is still recording) your actions will also be recorded

Basically, if you want to record something on screen, do NOT mess about with the remote and if you wanted something that would allow you to watch one thing and record another, you need something like the V+ box(but they're expensive and slightly risky as a lot of people dont sell them with paired cards etc..)
