If you connect the box to the HDD recorder via either scart or them red, yellow, white wire things then you dont need to "programme" the HDD recorder-just switch to the right "channel" on the HDD recorder(normally AV 1 or AV2)

think i get you there,so that means i would just be viewing the eurovox through the hdd (channel av1/2) and then i would just press record on the recorder rather than programming the eurovox aswell??
Cheers for the help so far lads. another question would be that i wouldnt be able to record one channel and watch another would i or am i misunderstood Like I said cheers |

Depending on the HDD recorder, you MAY be able to play back one recording whilst recording something else.
You can only get one channel at a time out of the Eurovox, so unless you get a second Eurovox, you can't dual-view
