sky player related question

If i.e. i had family in ireland and wanted to view RTE and used their account information

could i watch RTE from sky player despite having a UK ip address? I know if your outside the UK and Republic of ireland it will give you hassle but what about this?

if anyone knows this would appreciate knowing.
