Just wondering would this equipment do if I wanted to "split" my feed from my modem?-The TV is about 3m away from my modem
Wf100 cable 2 way splitter 2 F connectors? Or would I need more f connectors? Or have I got the connector type completely wrong? |

That would do , but would work out cheaper if you got it from lincsat and would come ready made.
Lincsat's Nick-nacks (Shop) Or if you prefer to go down the flea-bay route have a look at item 280352695470 ready made splitter kit. |

Sorry to resurrect this-I havent bought the kit just yet, but I had a thought-I remember people on this forum saying that the wf100 was the best cable? Is there really any difference between the wf100 and other cables? Is it a minimal amount or is it a noticeable amount?

hi that seems ok a 2 way spitter and a length of cable you require from the modem to the tv ie 3m and another length of cable from the spitter to the modem and 4 f connectors 1 on each end would do the job try lincsats nick nacks good prices on there or ebay can help to then just plug the coxial cable which is in the modem at the moment into the in port of the two way spitter use the short length of cable you have to conncet it to one of the out ports of the spitter and the other end into your modem and then your long length of cable plug one end into the other out port on the spitter and the other end into your cable box that should be just fine
I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED YOU IF YOU NEED ANY FURTHER HELP PLEASE MESSAGE ME AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU FURTHER ( IF I CAN ) Thanks |
