Hi, complete beginner. What do I need to do / know once I get my hands on one? I have no knowldge at all, have always wanted to get one but got scared by the amount of technical talk that surrounds the setting up of one of these? Thanks

A lot of reading & searching is evolved, you will have to learn to walk b4 you can run. :P

Pick a modem SB5100i or e, sb5101i or e or a250, a255 or a256 (theres more models but carnt be ar$ed) then start collecting firmware bootloaders 2mb backups as much info as you can find,

good luck cuz your going to need it learning from scratch...
