Ryt, ive got a ambit 200 with s5100mod, and Ive tried cloning my old subbed 20mb modem. While doing this it will connect, download a config, then reboot. I listed all the configs it downloaded but theres something about them

There must be some algorithm which cud be worked out the way they generate these configs, just like in encryption....confusion, diffusion hmmmm.

However, Ive scanned for macs from another area, but only find 2mb configs and dynamic configs. What else can i do to get 20mb? or gettin the business 20mb dwn, 1mb up to stay connected all the time rather than rebooting? Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Have a read around mate, theres LOADS on it EVERYWHERE on this forum.
First thing id try is not forcing configs, spoof ur nic mac and keep trying different macs on ur modem, some will stick.

You're right - there's no such thing as random where machines are concerned.

What I would do is write them all down on a blackboard, then get Russell Crowe round to stare at it for a few days until he comes up with the formula.

its just 1 long config broke up like a jigsaw in to loads sum macs have the same configs as others

thats ya big config the brackets are mine * is 50 pounds take the brackets and stars out thats 1 long config

Look at the values going down, there shiffting to the left 2 times, could refer to 20MB? wonder if its the same for 10MB shifftin left 1 time?

I think this is the case as i said above because my 50MB config is a segment from the above config list > 834ncxv9873254k;fg87dsfd (subbed 50MB modem)

Im going to check what the next config it loads after a reboot.
