Default Cheap(er) FDTV-C

Hi,

If I'm breaking any forum rules, please let me know.

I've spoken with DE about getting a one-off batch of FDTV-C's to see if we can beat the current exchange rate. They are interested.

In fact they're, suggesting that the batch can be made up of a combination of C's, S's, S2's etc.

Oviously, anyone's interest would be price-dependent, but I can't get a price until I have an idea of numbers! Hence this post.

So, let me know if you're thinking of getting a FDTV, but have been put off by the price...

Willin - with mediaportal, TV Pack or MC7, yes you can.

I'd also wondered about us batching up on CAMs + Cards etc, but we can cross that bridge later on.

They can do £120 (delivered in one batch) based on the quantities I've asked them for, I'm not sure now about any import duties, though...

Oh, and possible paypal fees.

I would be interested in a DVB-S2 at £120. There are no duties as you will pay the VAT in Austria at 20%.

The fees as I see it if we paypal you £120 would be

3.4% + 20p so thats £4.28 + insured UK postage special delivery to keep yourself right at £6.80 each unit.

So the actual price would be approx £135 inc Austrian postage the way I see it.

Make sure the £120 price includes their VAT or its no cheaper than Kustom PC which is £160 delivered.

Yep, Austrian VAT included. From memory, the S2 was a bit cheaper (which surprised me) on the quote.

Good point about the postage from me out to you.

Everyone still okay at £135?

£135 is only £6 cheaper then kustomPCs (I ordered a card the other day, with next day special delivery and it only came to £141) so for the sake of £6 its not really worth it
