This is how to do it on a max v (it should be very similar on other models)
I would save your channel data file first so you always have something to fall back on if you have the frequency then to update it Menu/Installation/Fast Install and press OK (enter pin) This brings up the Fast Install screen, check symbolrate is correct then press exit on the remote and the frequency screen opens up. Scroll to the frequency with the channels you want to update Press OK on remote this will put a tick next to the frequency Press the Blue Button on the remote to do a manual scan of that frequency hopefully this should pick up any missing channels. If you are missing a transponder frequency then you need to add it manually. Menu/Installation/User Installation/OK/Pin This brings up the Fast Install screen check symbolrate is correct then press exit on the remote and the frequency screen opens up. On the remote press the green button (CH Edit) and then the red button (Add) this opens a screen where you can input the information required. Input the channel number, this should be 1 above your highest, (if you have 31 transponders then number it 32) To change the channel number press info on the remote (this brings up an editing screen) On the editing screen Input the number you want and then press save select frequency and using the remote numbers input the new frequency, do the same with the symbolrate Press OK to save it and you will go to the transponder frequency screen where your saved transponder will be last in the list Scan your new transponder to get missing channels |

you need to do a bit of searching and reading all the answers you need have been given before, in the meantime
to save a cdf file you use either the Unified Flash Loader or Voxer connect box to PC with null modem cable run the UFL or Voxer and upload the file from your box to PC I think this might be the thread you want Frequencies required Nottingham |
