Default Problem with my Laptop

Hi

I have a problem with my Acer Aspire 5735 laptop.

It loads normally. I put the password in and the screen with the desktops appears but after that I can't do nothing. Everything is just frozen/jammed. I don't get no response from pressing the keyboard buttons or the touch pad (mouse).

Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can solve it?

Many thanks

Try booting into safe mode and see if it works, if so try a system restore.
When starting the computer keep pressing the F8 key and if you get the boot up options select Safe Mode, this will boot up your laptop without the drivers.

No, everything in your documents will remain, as will your email, it just restores the computer to the date you select, negating any updates that might be causing the problems.
Also run a full anti virus and anti spyware sweep.

AVG 8.5 free and its good for everyday use but if you think you have a virus and need to get rid of it the best software for that is SPYBOT it is also free and does the job m8.
