Hi, i tried to flash a new image on to my dbox 2 last night and after restart i just get loading kernel on the LCD screen. I have tried to reflash using IFA i have tried different versions and i am having no luck.
The status bar get about a third across then it just freezes saying loading flash image, i left it on over night and was still in the same place this morning. Anybody got any ideas to get it working again? Thanks Below is the IFA log: Linux version 2.4.36-dbox2 (Hallenberg.com) (gcc version 3.4.6) #2 So 6. Set you PC NIC to 192.168.0.201 and set you link speed to 10Mbps / half duplex.
IFA doesn't always work first time so keep trying....your box will flash. Personally I have found the portable version of IFA by far the easiest to use...........normally always works first time with only crossover cable attached. good luck mate |
