I have a all in one dvd player/surround sound system and when i hook it up with my freeview box, i cant get the sound through the surround sound speakers, though I can if i just watch normal analogue tv.

I have the dvd/surround sound connected to the freeview box with a scart lead and then the freeview connected via scart to the tv. This is as the freeview instructions stae but i dont have the RF in connector on the surround system running to the freeview as the freeview instructions state or the RF out connector running from the dvd to the tv. should I? Any suggestions? Is it actually possible to watch freeview via the surround sound?

select the same input on the surround sound unit as anolouge it wont make any difference and should give you sound on whatever station your tv is on
