Heya guys,
my friend.........not the sharpest tool in the box, has flashed his starview 1 with the sv2 firmware,

I have tryed to add the correct firmware for him and all i get is an error saying Flash failed on my pc,

How...if possible, can i fix this problem?

try setting the download away switch the starveiw on and off to force the the download

reset to factory settings and flash with the right software

If you cant load software on to it, then you will have to jtag it instead
