Jettison the cable and get Sky instead

A single dreambox can share an NDS card quite well as can a fairly simple phoenix device in a PC.

Not sure about the new cards but the present ones have been working for years like this !

The dongle thing is simply a remote tranciever that transfers card requests from a Sky box to your PC via ethernet. Programmed correctly this will work fine - the box thinks the card is in the slot !

new cards dont work with pheonix m8
as far as im aware nor do the smargo go readers

have tried both on a linux debain server no luck so far

new cards are working in dreambox with the new newcs release. You have to put the box key in after converting it. How too's are on the net.

i can run in my dreambox but the card gets to hot

Strange it should be getting hot - dreamboxes usually clock slower than real sky boxes so, if anything, it should run cooler.

Perhaps your just trying to run too many clients from a single card.

The new cards are rumoured to get extremely hot, enought to burn your fingers or at least melt the card. More likley a situation explained by thecoder above as the new cards are rumoured to restrict the amount of emm's it lets out.

just that lots of people say the have the card working fine

maybe when the new cccam release comes out the will be a fix

The only way round it is to card share round a home network. This will unfortunately mean you will have to buy 4 CS capable receivers

There is no sucj thing as a clone Sky card and even if there was it wouldn't matter as Sky are in the middle of a card swap out so it would be short lived anyway.

you shouldnt be paying for cable its the easyest forms of incrypsions to overcome, where do you live? you should be able to pick up a hd black box for about 200-300, you can get just the black box that gives you everything but the hd ch's for about 100-180, depends on who you get it off ?

Not only do the prices you suggest seem both rediculous and exagerated, but the fact you attempt to sound as though you are somehow more learned than the rest of forum only enforces my believe that you have absolutely no clue about that which you speak.

The boxes can be and often are obtained for a great deal less than you mentioned, and your terminology used is awful - 'hd black box' and 'black box' ??

Please, do not come and shout off like you know everything, it may be entirely possible that someone somewhere has gotten a new sly card to work with the card sharing technologies available today, but if thats the case it's certainly not public knowledge.

Which in turn begs the question, what is the source to your information?
