Hi, I want to connect PC to plazma screen that has DVI-D connecter at the back, would DVI to DVI cable i.e PC to plazma both have DVI connecter do the job, sound and picture??

You wont get sound mate, Only picture. But if you have a set of speakers set up through your pc there isnt really an issue there.

most lcd and plasma also have pc input so you can use pc out on pc ie blue 19 or 24 pin direct to plasma, then use a 3.5mm jack from audio output on pc to a 2 x phono and shove that to the audio input on the lcd.

If you want surround sound, use a DVI cable as mentioned above and use SPDIF as your audio source (if your PC and surround kit support it).
