sat tv help - sports & movies

im intersted in getting sat tv with a dreambox or something like that for the footy films ect any advice welcome something easy cheap but dogs danglies???

As you are obviously a newby to the hobby you dont want a Dreambox or any other Linux box. Get a nice Technomate or summat similar to begin with.

Almost all the channels are secure scrambled these days so you need to think about a subscription.

thanks for your info ok what do i need ?what subs? dish ect dont want to waste my money ( as i aint got none right now ) do i use computer or just a card dish ect thanks for your replies

That depends on EXACTLY what you want to watch, but be warned some of the foreign subs make Sky UK look cheap by comparison!

im a LIVERPOOL fan paid megabucks for santana ( what a rip ) and paid for sky footy ? & didnt get much ? wanted films if poss ect but what ever you think maybe best ( read your other responces to other stuff & you defo in the loop ) what do you think sounds good ( dont say change teams ) whats the best for the money ? motorized dish ??computer? ive talked to managers of pubs in liverpool & everyone says something diff ?? thanks for your help

Cant help much with the football - Im not in the slightest bit interested in watching the over paid prima donnas you get prem league football.

To be honest you probably want to wait a few weeks until we get nearer the start of the season. Once we get there we will know which providers will be carrying next seasons footy.
