Default dreambox help

hi guys, got dreambox 500T here, trying to flash it with dreamup and dk_1.1 image. ok quick run down. pressed connect, then flashed with d.k_image. then pressed no erase, then box flashed complete, yet when i set box up nothing happens, remote wont even power on or off, yet green button is on. need advice

If thats the case, why not just buy a freeview box for a tenner?
The 500T will only do terrestial TV aka a freeview box

Why not get a better box-one that can do cable

im in terrestrial area, ch8rus, i have the aerial and everything that goes with it in place, anxious to get it going just to see can i set it up ,

Am I right in thinking that the Dreambox 500T is only good as a freeview receiver? If that is the case, why not just get a Freeview box? Or am I wrong?

no mate he is on chorus in ireland and thats what you need ///chorus has not gone nag 2 or 3 yet

hi guys, ya ch8rus still on N1 , i flashed the box with a image called egima late last night, only rte1 working, tryed 2 flash with dk_1.1 image first would not load. the egima image is dated 2006. im new to dreambox but any help would be great,
