No problem and yes the Itgate is a good box with good support a good team behind it if and when you are looking down the linux route. Nagra 3 is another story as said.

where has moved to Nagra 3 completely, do you know? and are there any teams that have made progress with it? from what I understand thusfar, there's not been any breakthroughs yet.

n3 I believe is implemented in the US, so they get no channels through the normal way

Also basically the Kryptviews are more reliable with better build quality but if you want something that can record then get the Starview 4

Also no one knows when nagra 3 is coming-so like always you are taking a risk

The "Kryptview people" are relatively new to the manufacturing of boxes (roughly 3 years) but i can guarantee the guys that desighn and support it certainlty are not

is there any guarantee that their support will continue, or would they just drop this box and move onto another model? sure, Starview took longer for the fix, but they did continue their support and eventually released it
What, you mean drop support like the starview guys have done with SV 1,2 and 3.
The fixes that the Kryptview team release are all backwards compatable with the earlier A700c model and have repeatedly stated that support will continue for ALL past and future models

I'm not too bothered about the recording, no because I already have a HD-recorder that's done me fine over the last few years which I have no problem sticking with.

and again, great to hear. I was a bit undecided, as I said about which one to get, but after this thread and your guys advise, I am no longer, it's Kryptview 100% from me.

thanks to all contributors.

At the moment on my eurovox max v ive got a channel PPV SUB which shows all the live pay per view sporting events eg boxing,wrestling..
But this week its been showing films on the channel SKY BOX OFFICE..
Does the A750 show this channel all the time like my eurovox does or does it only show as PPV SUB when the live sport events are showing??..
In other words do a rescan when the boxing is on for the channel to show??..
Cheers..
