Default help samsung 2100c

hi
ive powered up a samsung 2100 with a normal scart to the tv and no ntl connected. and im not getting anything on the tv ie (ntl loading screen) all thats on the front of the box is Ld 20.
i am trying to get the engineers menu up by pressing the up and down keys when booting but there is nothing on the screen of the tv?????

can you help please

instead of a scart use a short coax cable this works and will eliminate the scart problem.

try a different scart or try that scart cable with another box or video and if that works m8.

What Do You Mean (no ntl connected.)(ntl loading screen) ??
Have You Got The Live Feed Lead On To See If It Powers Up First?

Remove any spliters u got and connect the cable feed straight to the box leave it for 20-25 minutes it will update...just give it time,

hi
(no cable connected) is the live feed from ntl/virgin out the wall
(ntl loading screen) is the ntl:home with a white back ground on the tv

i have tryed a working box and this is the screen i get when i power up the box and no live feed in it

on the box i have a problem with is there seems to be no signal as in the ntl:home with white screen is not comming up?

sorry not very good at explaining

If This Dont Work.... Open The Box And Short Out The Battery (With A Bit Of Wire) And If You Are In Pure Area (NTL) Leave It On And Then It Should Reset Itself
