Hi folks, I've a static caravan and the wife now wants a tv in the already tight bedroom, Asda has a 15''LCD for £100 and a bracket for £15. i have a spare FTA box that i plan to hook to the box that is already there by the loop thru facility, I did have twin LNB but one of the outlets is kna****d, the feed from the dish has a run of about 30 ft, with the loop through back to the bedroom the run would be about 25 ft, will I encounter any signal problems. The dish is a Lidl 65cm, if I had to replace the twin LNB or mono (i think thats what you call it) as an option where can I get one to fit

My van will soon be worth breaking into!

The loop though is a bad idea if you want to watch both receivers at once, as the viewing choice on the 2nd one would be limited to about 1/4 of the total frequencies, unless you turn off the first one. Signal wise you would probably be OK if you have good cable (wf100 or equivalent).

A twin LNB would be a better solution technically. Southernsatellite will have a suitable replacement I would have thought.

Forget the loop thru - as Robbo says it never works properly.

Replace the lnb & run a seperate cable from the dish to the second room.
