So, Ronaldo has gone (Great player but not the best) , i think this will be Fergies last chance before he retires to go out and spend £100+ million and to me i think he needs 3 Top players. Wether he can get them is another story. For me it would be. Iniesta, Messi, Xavi. Thing is Barca aint gona let them go, come on Fergie pull it out the hat!!!!!

What united need more than anything is a keane,gerrard,essien!
No point in having all these great forwards/attaking midfielders without someone that can win the bloody ball!!
Barcelona totally took the p1ss out of our poor midfield.

Very true, but if you look at how barca were set up against us xavi and iniesta did exactly that, united need a similar player/players! Id luv it if we got Gerrard, just think of the grief you could give the scousers!!!!!!!!!

This is a chance for great change. I think a lot of man u players are now past their sell by date, scholles, gigs and neville, oh and brown, anderson and park. We must buy a new midfield. I have a feeling berbatof will come good next season.

We aint far off, like you said need a change of guard, berba will come good and Rooney will be much better without Ronaldo i think, Fergies got about 3 years left tops so what he does pre-season will be his last major transfers imo.

I'd like to see a couple of wingers come in to replace Ronaldo and giggs who is way past it now,
also a tough tackling midfielder as Carrick is decent but he's no midfield general! Hargreaves is a decent ball winner when he's fit! but is prone to neading knee surgery everytime he tackles someone
