Default Sa 4200 net id

Hi, I have just done my first sa 4200, (only ever done pace before) i have my mosc, the bit i am stuck on is how can set the net id and pin, after a bit of reading i understand you can use a fun card like the pace, but you have to lift a chip, is there a tut of which chip it is and how you go about it.

So close but so far with this one,

Thanks again

yeah, there is a tut but basically its chip 2007.

there are two 512's on the underside of the board, its the one of these. you need to blank it, same as you do with a v+.

note, these boxes will only work in telewest. they will not work in c+w. not sure about pure but i doubt it.

yeah there soldered on.

you would blank them with a willem/wellon/512 programmer

or, you could just buy a blank chip from cartman for a few quid.
