Hi Guyz,

New to all this and some interesting posts, I am thinking of purchasing the above PCI card and connecting it up to my dish, what do I need to do in terms of software required to get other channels apart from FTA ones.

A neewbie guide would be much appreciated....

If you go with the above card it will come with a CamInterface ( CI ) which will take various types of cams this is where you need to start Cams/Programmers
But first you will need something better than the player that comes on the provided CD from Technisat , this is a version of DVBViewer you can purchase the Pro version which is about £13 if memory is right but theres quite a few out there some free like DVBDream and if you visit these sites/forums you will find a load of Plugins/Cardsharing for your player its a mine field do loads of reading lol best of luck
